Every weekend, local artisans gather in Huntington Beach, California for the Pier Plaza Art-A-Faire. White tents line the beachside plaza as vendors display their products.
Kara Tran-Wright arrives and begins to make her way through the art fair. First, she admires a series of necklaces on display.
Further inside the event, an artist displays plant holders that have been sculpted and painted to resemble human faces.
Attendees admire this vendor’s jewelry. Located on the Western edge of the plaza, the booth has a direct view of the beach.
Kara looks at a display of hand-made pendants as more people trickle into the event.
The pendants feature optimistic sayings and Biblical quotes.
A few booths over, Yogurt Glamor sells organic soaps made from yogurt. Here, the lavender and vanilla products are shown on display.
After looking at a range of products, Kara decides to purchase lavender soap from Yogurt Glamor. She is shown here reaching for her wallet as the vendor packages the product.
After her purchase, Kara makes her way back home. On the way, she passes by the Pier Plaza Wall, marking her exit from the event.
